Happy 1 Year Partnership!!!!!

Happy 1 Year Partnership!!!!!

Hey Ya'll!

I get questioned all the time about what it’s like to now have a business partner, so I thought now would be the perfect time to express it. September , we celebrated a partnership of 1 year and let’s just say… it’s wonderful! Having someone to share my dream with, makes it so much more exciting. Janie and I are different in so many ways, but our hearts are so much alike.

Opening this store has taught me so many life lessons. First, If you don't try… how are you gonna know if it will ever work? This was what my husband James said to me when he encouraged me to open the store. This leap of faith, was the biggest leap I have ever taken. I had no idea what was in store for my future, but I knew I wanted “the store” to be a part of it. So here I was, jumping all in. My family and I worked day and night for two months trying to make my dream become a reality. In the middle of my dream, I woke up to a nightmare. The day before P&P was scheduled to open, my brother was in a car accident and Heaven gained another angel. This brings me to another lesson, Pray and Pray Some More. Nothing but God can get us through this crazy journey called life.

After my brother’s death, a glimpse of hope was just what I needed. Through prayer and more prayer, I began the healing process. As time went on, my dream of opening a store became a reality. But the real blessing occurred, when God sent me Janie. He knew I needed her in so many ways. She’s always there for me and is my shoulder to cry on. Janie is my book keeper, financial director, realist, personal therapist, and best of all… my soul sister. She gets me. My dreams may be far out there, but she still believes in them.

Pistols and Pearls has blossomed into so much more than I think Janie and I expected and I know God has great things ahead for P&P. So shoppers, viewers, friends and family… thank you for your love and support. We could not do it without you. But… a personal huge shout out to my business partner, because I could not do it without her. So to all who are wondering…Having a business partner is the best decision I could have made. After all, my business partner is the best!
